Isolated by design, built for WordPress
Most hosting puts many customers on one server and hands them a general-purpose panel. We built the platform the other way round.
Isolated by design
- Every site runs in its own isolated environment, with its own CPU, memory, storage, network rules and dedicated database.
- Network rules stop one site from reaching any other site on the platform, so a problem stays where it started.
- We tested it: with one site pinned at 100% CPU, the site next to it stayed within measurement noise; a site driven out of memory was stopped at its own limit while its neighbour kept serving every request.
Built for WordPress
- We host WordPress only, so every layer, from the web server and PHP to caching and the dashboard, is set up for it rather than adapted from generic hosting.
- WordPress core, PHP and the web server are baked into a read-only image; only your content changes. Updates roll out as new instances behind health checks, with no downtime.
- Your images and uploads aren't stored on your web server. They live on replicated object storage and are served straight from there, without going through WordPress, so loading them never takes computing power away from your pages, and a server failure never loses them.
- The dashboard manages WordPress sites, not a server: staging, plugins, logs, firewall events and cost, per site.

Kinsta is the better fit if
- Your visitors are worldwide and you want to pick a data centre near them. We run in Germany and Finland only.
- You want an established platform with agency and enterprise plans.
- You want to try it for a month free on an entry plan.
Grandhosting is the better fit if
- You want to pay in euro, from €3.49 + VAT a month, rather than from $35.
- You don't want to pay per visit. We bill the compute your site uses, so a traffic spike isn't priced per 1,000 visitors.
- You need more storage: ours is €0.10 per GB + VAT over the included 10 GB, Kinsta's extra disk is $2 per GB.
- You want 30 days of daily backups on every site, not 14.
- You don't want bandwidth bills. Ours is included with no overage fees; Kinsta charges $0.50 per GB of server bandwidth over the plan.
What you get either way: isolated sites, a CDN, free staging, free SSL, daily backups, free migration, their own dashboard. These are standard now, so they shouldn’t decide it. What happens when your site gets busy, or breaks, should.

Kinsta's entry plan is $35 a month ($30 billed yearly) plus tax, for up to 35,000 visits. Our Micro starts at €3.49 + VAT and Standard, which scales automatically, at €5.99 + VAT, and a busy site pays for the extra compute it uses. For most small and medium sites the difference is large; for very high traffic, compare the two on your real numbers.

On Kinsta, visits over your plan are billed at $0.50 per 1,000, and Kinsta may charge early when overages reach the plan price. With us there is no visit allowance: on Standard the site adds instances for the spike and you pay for the compute used, which you can cap with a monthly spending limit.
